Precision Rods has designed what we and many others consider to be the lightest and stiffest rigger poles; period. Precision rods are synonymous with ground breaking designs and these outrigger poles are proof of that. Just like our tag poles we have again chosen high strength carbon fibre in the rigger poles. The high strength carbon fibre used in all our poles has been wrapped in such away that it makes for a stiff yet light pole without sacrificing strength or rigidness. These lightweight yet robust rigger poles eliminate stress and strain imposed on the mounting points at the base.
We have essentially designed a super high-Tech rigger pole from the ground up while eliminating all the common problems along the way. This approach in design allows smaller trailer boats to mount there bases on rocket launchers or gunnels with out fear of fatigue and failure on the mounting surface. Due to there light weight and stiff design they impart much better action in the lure or bait dramatically increasing hook up ratios.
The other key benefit in using any of our poles is you can troll large lures and baits with out the rigger flexing causing the lure or bait to blow out of the water and becoming tangled around the main line. This is the number one problem with most all rigger poles and the Precision Riggers eliminate this all together.
You can also expect superior line release from the rigger clips when a fish strikes.
Each set of rigger poles comes with 4 x Ronstan ball bearing rollers and 6 x 316 stainless eye bolts fitted by us in house. We have utilized the Ronstan rollers at the tip of the poles and at the base to facilitate ease of operation and to take any guess work out. The Ronstan rollers enable the rigger lines to be deployed or retrieved with absolute ease, no more flat spots in the rigger lines or friction to battle with. We really have put all our 24+ years experience in game fishing into these rigger poles and the end result is evident in there performance.
