These blanks are made from the same materials as the 2 piece short levers.  These rods are designed more for the game angler that doesn't want to go to the added expense of having a detachable butt.  Don't expect any less from these rods, they are the same in every way as the short lever; they have the same actions relative to their length, they also have the same pulling and lifting power.  They come with all the same fittings but in stead of having a detachable butt you will find an Aftco black and gold reel seat, hypolon rear grip and an Aftco gimble.  You will also get as standard heavy-duty leather fore grip, and Aftco heavy heavy-duty roller guides in black and gold.  On the lighter models, 8kg and the 10kg you can either have Aftco lightweight rollers or Fuji silicon guides.
